Hailed by the Boston Globe for “her clear and ringing voice,” Ta’Nika Gibson is a versatile actor, singer, and voiceover artist in NYC. A graduate of New York University, she was recently seen playing the role of Lorrell Robinson in the hit production of Dreamgirls at Theatre Under The Stars, in Houston TX. In 2016, she earned a nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Lady Thiang in The King and I directed by Diane DiCroce at The Weathervane Theatre, where she was also seen as Dorothy in The Wiz, Calpurnia in To Kill A Mockingbird, and Rosie in Mamma Mia. That same year, Ta’Nika premiered as a guest artist representing the United States of America at the Beijing International Film Festival/Tiantan Awards in Beijing, China.

Ta’Nika has performed regionally, internationally, and on the high seas, touring on the Walt Disney Fantasy Cruise ship showcasing such roles as Rafiki from The Lion King, and Calliope, a muse from Hercules, and the Narrator in Aladdin.

In 2014, she received rave reviews for her portrayal of the title role of Aida in the musical Aida by Elton John and Tim Rice at The Strand Theater in Boston, MA. In 2013, Ta’Nika originated the role of Molly in the world premier of 2wice Upon A Birthday at The Metropolitan Opera Guild, NYC.
